Gifted with one of the best views of Lake Maggiore and the Swiss Alps in the horizon from your 300 m² private garden, TWHOLM sits on the Eastern side of the Lake. This gives TWHOLM full sunlight from dawn till dusk and gives you the chance to relax all day long in the garden if you wish.
The Jacuzzi & Sundeck
A beautiful wooden sundeck complete with a splendid Jacuzzi Hot Tub, a romantic canopy and sun loungers will make for the best sunset aperitifs together with your loved ones and friends.
The Patio, Outdoor Furniture & Bbq
TWHOLM’s patio rewards you with plenty of fresh, shady and open space to enjoy the sunshine even on a warm summer day. A King Size Hammock is placed outdoors from spring to autumn so you can take a nap or siesta after lunch, or gaze at the stars at night.
A teak table with director’s chairs sits up to 6 guests and the Bbq allows you to grill fish, meat or veggies every time you want.
The Garden
300 m² surround THWOLM: from its private entrance on the back, leading into the garage, to its side and the front, with unparalleled views of Lake Maggiore and the Swiss Alps.
Ground Floor
TWHOLM’s ground floor comprises the entry door with a corridor leading to the main living room, the kitchen and the patio, then out into the front garden.
Garage
TWHOLM has its private garage with direct access to the house corridor, so you can park your car and be right home.
The Living Room
As you walk into the living room you’ll be welcomed by handicrafts, hand made by the owners, who restored TWHOLM with great passion and delight. The tall wooden lamp, the short lamp, the heart shape lamp, the ceiling lights, the sofas, the beautiful turquoise wooden door as well as the fish frame have all been made by Antonio and Cristina personally.
Relax on the comfy couch, read a book, watch TV or a movie on Netflix, Amazon Prime or one of the countless tv program providers listed on the smart TV; Ask Alexa to play your favorite music or dim the ceiling lights; use the Smart Home device to gather info on your day trip. In a word, make yourself comfortable at home and enjoy your time off.
The Kitchen
The kitchen is fully furnished with all you need to cook a delicious meal; use the oven, the microwave, the blender, the coffe maker, the vintage SMEG slicing machine to cut Parma ham
First Floor
TWHOLM’s first floor is where you’ll find all 3 charming and cozy bedrooms and 2 out of 3 bathrooms.
The really high ceiling, the wooden beams and the ceiling glass windows give each room lots of space, air and brightness.
A balcony facing the Lake and the Alps gives you one more unparalleled view for some of the most spectacular sunsets you can ever imagine.
Bedrooms
TWHOLM has 3 king size double bedrooms located all on the first floor.
The Master Bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom, both with a balcony overlooking the lake and the Alps.
The Master Bedroom is super bright, spacious, charming and romantic. It boasts a king size bed with extra comfortable mattress, storage for all your dresses and clothing, a tall mirror to view your outfit and a cozy stair to hang your towels.
The Second Bedroom is minimalistic in style, very bright and has a king size bed with the same extra comfortable mattress available in the Master Bedroom.
The Third Bedroom boasts another king size bed with the same extra comfortable mattress available in the Master Bedroom and cozy and romantic interior design.
Bathrooms
TWHOLM’s 3 Bathrooms are located on the first floor (2) and on the main floor (1).
The Ensuite Bathroom is part of the Master Bedroom and looks on to the balcony that faces the Lake and the Alps. It comes with a shower, wc and bidet.
The Second Bathroom is shared among the other two bedrooms and comes with a very big bathtub (no jacuzzi though), a shower, wc and bidet.
The Third Bathroom, is on the ground floor and has a wc, but no shower nor bidet as it’s the ‘service’ bathroom for the house during the day.

Getting There
TWHOLM is located on the eastern side of Lake Maggiore, so its position awards the villa with direct sunlight all day and spectacular sunsets; this make the house extremely bright, with great ambience, natural light entering its windows and ceiling windows during the day, hence its name, The White House On Lake Maggiore.
TWHOLM is 35min to Malpensa Airport (MXP) or the Swiss border if you arrive by car. Great day trips to explore the area, including Varese (20 min.), Milan (45 min.), Lake Como (45 min), Lugano (45 min.), Stresa and the Borromee islands (40 min.), and lots more.

We had an excellent stay at the beautiful White House! Antonio & Cristina, were great hosts and always answered any queries we had very promptly. We’ve stayed in many places but never used an app to access a property before – it was super easy though and meant we didn’t have to worry about retrieving keys, which given we arrived really late on the first evening was perfect. Antonio & Cristina had very kindly left some treats out for us to enjoy when we arrived and for the next morning – this was a pleasant welcome and instantly made us feel at home. The house itself, has been beautifully renovated and is lovely and spacious, when the sun shone we instantly made the most of the terrace which is a suntrap in the afternoon and has stunning views of Lake Maggiore. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone!
Staying in Antonio & Cristina’s house was a dream. After weeks of hard work, we were able to rest, enjoy the peace and serenity of the lake and its surroundings. Our hosts Antonio and Cristina were wonderful! Very welcoming and helpful. They went beyond being nice, suggesting where to go sightseeing and even making reservations for us at two great restaurants. The house is very well decorated, roomy, very clean and had every thing we needed to enjoy a two day stay. I highly recommend this accommodation for a very enjoyable stay.
The view is very nice and the accommodation lacks nothing, rather the opposite. Everything was very tastefully decorated and the host was very accommodating and nice. Ispra has its original flair and the promenade is worthwhile. All in all a very nice holiday.
This has been one of the best properties I have stayed at. The house is absolutely beautiful (exactly as pictured). It has everything you may need. We stayed here with six people and it was perfect. Antonio and Cristina are amazing hosts, super friendly and responsive. Would love to stay here again!
